Cuyahoga County Busted Mugshots is a private reference site, not a public office. We cannot verify custody or release, post bond, release anyone, or retrieve official booking records. Direct those requests to the responsible government office below.

Official Cuyahoga Record Routes

For people admitted to the Cuyahoga County Corrections Center, begin with the Cuyahoga County Sheriff inmate-information page and its official Sheriff app route. The Sheriff holds information about people admitted to the county jail, but the arresting department is the starting point for a copy of the underlying arrest record. County booking desks list drop-off and pick-up availability from 6:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.; county-warrant prisoners may be booked at any time. Those intake hours do not promise when a person will appear on a roster or when a record will be released.

The county’s Public Records Request page provides an online request path. Under ORC § 149.43, Cuyahoga County reports no filing fee for a request, although copy or other allowed charges may apply under County Code § 106.06. Request an electronic copy when practical and ask for an estimate before substantial duplication.

  • Arrest report or city booking record: Start with the arresting agency. Cleveland Police, Parma Police, and Lakewood Police retain their own arresting-agency records, even when a person is later accepted into county custody.
  • Current county custody: Use the Sheriff’s official app route or contact Corrections or the applicable booking desk for a specific unresolved custody question.
  • Felony case status: Use the Cuyahoga County Clerk of Courts and the Common Pleas criminal docket. The Clerk holds felony case records, which are different from a jail roster.
  • Warrant question: Call the Records/Warrant Division for Sheriff-held questions, then use the appropriate court or municipal agency to confirm status. A listing on a public wanted page does not establish an active warrant.
  • Sealing or expungement: The Cuyahoga County Public Defender provides local application information for Common Pleas matters. Questions are listed at 216-443-7580; eligibility must be checked under current Ohio law.
  • State, federal, or immigration custody: Search the ODRC Offender Search for state custody or supervision, the BOP inmate locator for federal custody, or the ICE Online Detainee Locator for applicable ICE custody. None is a CCCC booking roster.
